Why the Hydy?
The striking purple hydrangea with its large showy petals speaks of heartfelt emotion, gratitude for understanding, and pride. In Europe the hydrangea is therefore often included in wedding anniversary bouquets for people married many years. It is an unusual flower in the sense that it is a flower which is gifted in both happy and sorrowful times, as it is a flower of compassion, indicating that you truly care for someone.
The purple colour is synonymous with luxury, royalty and wealth. It is linked to abundance and prosperity. Additionally, some people who are attracted to the colour may have an aptitude for psychic abilities, creativity and a strong belief in themself and trust in their own instinct.
